The first Hudson Valley Orchidfest at Black Meadow Flora’s greenhouses in Chester NY was a grand success!  The Orchid Care 101 and Orchid Repotting classes, both led by owner Margaret Bridge, were very well attended. Visitors and students alike took the opportunity to browse the orchid greenhouses, and many bought holiday gift orchids and centerpieces for holiday tables.

Bridge announced the launch of Hudson Valley Orchids, its new retail division, and posted retail hours at the greenhouses:
